Brian Lutz is a versatile, creative, and passionate multifaceted media professional with more than a decade of experience. Working for CNN, CNBC, Fortune, Vox Media, and The NHL.
During his time at CNN, he worked in Field, Post, and Technical Production as a Media Coordinator, Assistant Editor, and Editor Producer, crafting and editing hundreds of stories for CNN, CNNI, and HLN.
Working in short-form news editing and documentary-style video. Finishing his stint as a lead editor for the flagship Anderson Cooper 360. His time at CNN New York allowed him to contribute as a Producer and ENG Field Production for various events.
Since moving on from CNN he’s been working with CNBC Technical Operations as a Transmission Coordinator. Helping facilitate all remote productions for the network.
In addition he remains creating content as a Video Editor Producer for CNBC Digital, Fortune Magazine, and Vox Media.
His expertise in crafting stories has brought him to teaching as an Adjunct Faculty at Montclair State University’s School of Communication and Media teaching the art and science of Field and Post Production.
Constantly invested in professional improvement, he is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree from the renowned S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a concentration in Media Management and Innovation.
